High Pasture Cave

We have had a couple of trips to High Pasture Cave and recommend it to anyone who wants to try out caving on Skye. There is a brief description in the book "Selected Caves of Britain and Ireland" and a more detailed description and survey in the "Caves of Skye" published by the Grampion Speleological Group. Its a nice easy trip with a duck or wet wallow depending on water levels and there are some nice formations. The cave is associated with an archeological dig as parts of the cave contained bronze age deposits, see the HPC Website for more information and an excellent 'virtual tour'.
